Creating Space for Remembrance Gatherings

8 July 2026 · 3 min read

Remembrance does not end on the day of the funeral. Families return on birthdays, anniversaries and public holidays, often in groups of ten or twenty people.

The memorial gardens are laid out with that in mind. Benches, shaded lawn areas and wide pathways allow a group to gather without crowding neighbouring spaces.

Families can reserve a garden section for a morning through the estate office. There is no charge, and the booking simply prevents two large groups arriving at the same spot at once.

For larger gatherings, the memorial chapel can be booked for a short service followed by tea. Our team will help with seating, sound and timing.
